“Several years ago, I struggled with managing my neck and back
pain, my lack of muscle strength and my balance issues. My
chiropractor suggested I try a fitness trainer and referred me to
Tomomi Tsuchio. The rest is history. It’s now five years later, I
am now 72 and I believe in better shape than when I first started
with Tomomi. She has not only helped me become physically
stronger but has also encouraged me to feel better about myself.
She is so caring, patient, fun and a true professional. And I can
even do a couple of pushups on the floor! I highly recommend
Tomomi to anyone wanting to connect with a certified fitness
trainer/corrective exercise specialist.”

About my certifications:
- What does a Corrective Exercise Specialist do?
A Corrective Exercise Specialist is an expert in human movement. I accurately analyze a client’s movement patterns, identify overactive and underactive muscle groups and compensations.
- What does a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist (PCES 2.0) do?
As PCES 2.0, I bridge the gap between training and rehab. I will give you a deeper understanding behind the common postpartum dysfunctions and provide the best corrective exercises to help. I will carefully pick exercise progressions, regressions, and variations to help fit you at any level.
Women often make up more than half of the normal clientele in PT clinics, gyms and studios. But most educational programs do not even cover the basics of working with pregnant and postpartum women. Not to mention perimenopause and menopause when those hormonal changes can leave a woman’s body more vulnerable to injury, much like the postpartum time period! This isn’t just for those who are pregnant or newly postpartum, it’s women who want to support a lifetime of healthy exercise.
I have worked with clients with Lower Back Issues, Pelvic Floor issues, chronic pain from posture, etc.

“I first met Tomomi on a recommendation from a friend who had been working with her for a while with great success. Tomomi took the time to figure out what was causing my pain and then customized an exercise routine to address my issues. She is extremely knowledgeable, personable and fun to hang out with. I learned so much from her about the correct way to breathe, stretch and exercise. She really cares about her clients and loves helping them. She’s a joy to work with!”
